The Dreamfish charity fishing tournament and auction was held at Gator’s Cafe on Saturday October 3, 2009 to benefit Capt. Doug Hemmer. Ms. Whitaker placed the highest bid on her choice of any style of Seaspension pedestal or credit towards a Dual post or Bench seat. All proceeds of the auction went for Capt. Hemmer’s upcoming back surgery. Seaspension would also like to thank Capt. Lynn Zirkle for his help with the auction and for making his boat available to interested parties to experience Seaspension first hand.

Peter Burer developed the Seaspension system in 2000. Its innovative design virtually eliminates the discomfort and fatigue associated with a day on the water. Seaspension pedestals are designed to retrofit to traditional boat seats, bench seats, bolsters, leaning posts and captain’s chairs. The product is made of stainless steel and TIG welded aluminum, with a heavy-duty base casting and velocity-sensitive dampers. The product currently retails for $796.00 per pedestal.
